Our cruises are in 90 minute or 180 minute time slots. You must make a reservation for every trip.
Children do count as adults. The maximum amount of lives we can have on a boat is 6 plus the captain.

We do not provide food and beverages (except water). Please bring your own.
There is NO SMOKING on board the Tiki.

Our Cruisin Tiki’s are U.S. Coast Guard approved and come with a captain, a cooler with ice and water, a freshwater sink and a bluetooth sound system. It is very stable. The boat goes 4 to 6 mph on open water. We provide all the life jackets for adults and children.
There is NO bathroom on board.

Sunscreen, sunglasses and maybe a hat as the sun is hot and we want you to be most comfortable.

Food and beverages as well as items to serve them. We will provide a cooler filled with ice to keep everything cold and bottled water.

Bring a swim suit if you wish to go swimming, as well as towels. (3 hours excursions only)

Please wear shoes as our boat is made from wood and splinters do happen.

Cruisin’ Tikis St. Augustine wants to provide a fun and memorable experience with safety, respect, kindness and self-control as tour goals for staff, passengers, shore, waterways, boat and dock property. We encourage appropriate behavior throughout the tour. Bring your favorite beverage, beer or wine if you wish. We do not sell alcohol on board. If you choose to bring beer or wine, we allow consumption of 3 beers per person or 6 pack for 2. One bottle of wine/ champagne for 2 people. The Captain is in charge of the boat and will ask everyone to abide to our policies. Inappropriate behavior may result in early termination of your cruise without a refund. Examples include but are not limited to: extreme intoxication, littering, damage to the boat, equipment, docks, excessive noise, offensive language / behavior, failing to adhere to crew leadership and safety instruction. Must be 21 or older with valid ID to consume alcohol onboard.

YOU MUST CALL TO CANCEL. E-mails are not accepted. Bookings are non-refundable within 48 hours of trip time. We reserve the right to cancel any tour at any time due to weather, safety, mechanical or behavioral issues. If your tour is canceled, you will be given a rain check to re-book at another time (this excludes behavioral, along with alcohol related cancellations – these circumstances will never be rescheduled or refunded). For weather related issues, the Captain will be the decision maker. We may “wait out” a brief shower, reschedule for another day during your stay, or refund if unable to reschedule. “NO SHOWS” will NEVER be refunded or rescheduled.

Our Captains do work for tips, so gratuity is greatly appreciated. We suggest a 20% gratuity (on the regular price if using discount) for our captains… they are very experienced, knowledgeable, and work hard to ensure your safety and to provide an amazing tiki experience for our guests!

The Matanzas Bay Cruise (90 min.) is $60 per person. The Sunset Cruise (90 min.) is $70 per person and the Island Excursion (3 hour) is $120 per person. Rates DO NOT include booking fee or gratuities.

All cruises include a captain, cooler with ice and bottled water, a freshwater sink, high fidelity Bluetooth sound system and safety equipment.

Our standard cruises run approximately 90 minutes (1.5 hours) from beginning to end, including a quick safety run-down before we depart.

We depart from Beaches Restaurant at 250 Vilano Rd. St. Augustine, FL 32084 and embark on daily cruises on the nearby waters (Matanzas Bay).

There is NO dress code for the boat! If your cruise is in the daytime, you may want to consider bringing hats and sunglasses. If your cruise is at night, you may want to consider bringing a sweatshirt or light jacket. Please note that you may be splashed due to waves and wakes as other boats pass by. To make your experience more enjoyable, you should wear shoes that you don’t mind getting wet.

Yes! We encourage passengers to bring sunscreen. We do ask that you refrain from bringing spray sunscreen as it tends to get everywhere when sprayed, including on the bar and can make the deck/hull slippery. We thank you in advance for your understanding.

Our vessel is subject to others’ boat maneuvers along with wakes from passing boats that can create waves, wake and spray. While the amount of water also depends on weather and water conditions, all passengers should expect to get at least some spray. For this reason, you may also want to bring a hand towel.

The price is the same regardless of how many passengers drink alcoholic beverages; the price does not lower for non-drinkers.

No, we do not provide food. You are welcome to bring your own food and snacks. Due to the sometimes windy conditions on the water, it is best to bring food and utensils in containers with lids. (Sorry, we do not provide plates, cups and utensils and there is no refrigeration available for passenger use.) You may want to grab some meals or snacks at Beaches Restaurant (where we are located) before boarding.

It’s a slow, relaxing ride… our tiki boat has a top cruising speed of around 5 knots (approx. 6 mph), depending on wind, current and the number of people on board.

Yes! Our tiki boat meets all U.S. Coast Guard specifications.

Yes! There is a type 1 wearable U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket on board for each person. All children under the age of 13 MUST WEAR a life jacket while the boat is underway. If you do not know how to (or cannot) swim, you MUST WEAR a life jacket at all times. There is also a throw ring on the boat.

Your crew will consist of a U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain.

All of our captains are licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard and have been vetted and trained per U.S. Coast Guard requirements. “The captain’s word is the law on the boat.” For the safety of all passengers and crew, please listen to and follow instructions given by your captain. Please pay attention to your captain’s safety procedures at the start of your cruise. The captain will provide a short rundown regarding safety equipment. This important information could save a life!

Gratuity is greatly appreciated as our captains work hard to ensure your enjoyment, comfort and safety. If you are pleased with the level of service received, the customary gratuity is 15-20% of the charter fee. We appreciate your generosity!

Yes, we are family-friendly and children are allowed! Please note that children under 13 years old MUST WEAR a life jacket which we have on board or you can bring your own U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket(s). Please let us know if you plan to bring children, their weight and if you plan to bring more than two children so we can make the appropriate accommodations for life jackets.

Since each pregnancy is different, we encourage you to consult with your physician. Please let us know upon arrival so we can accommodate you accordingly.

Our passengers may be exposed to sun, rain, sea spray and other outdoor elements and may be splashed due to waves and wakes as other boats pass by. Please consider this when determining suitability for all passengers. Only passengers in good health should participate. For your safety, please consult your physician if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure, have heart, neck or back issues, have had recent surgery, suffer from motion sickness or have any other condition that may be aggravated by this boat ride. All guests, including those with disabilities or those who use a wheelchair, must be able to transfer into and out of the boat by themselves or with assistance of a member of their party.

An active service dog for physically-impaired individuals is allowed. Notification that a service dog will be boarding with you is required upon making your reservation. Please bring your own dog life jacket. As a safety measure, we do not allow pet carriers onboard.
